Özet
Leptospirosis is a worldwide zoonotic infection. The infection in humans occurs usually following either direct or indirect contact with the urine of an infected animals. The diverse clinical presentations of this disease make it essential for the laboratory to play an important role in diagnosis. We here presented a case who had fever, blurred consciousness, diarrhea, and urinary and fecal incontinence with increased blood CPK-MB and myoglobin levels and who had ultimately been diagnosed Leptospirosis. Leptospirosis should be thought as an etiology in patients with myopericarditis. It should be kept in mind that early diagnosis of leptospirosis and initiation of antibiotherapy without delay may save the patient’s life and prevent the probable sequelaes.
