Özet

Neck intramuscular haemangioma is a benign, uncommonneoplasm arising most frequently in the massetermuscles. It usually appears as an enlarging masswithout specific clinical features and is therefore frequentlymisdiagnosed. We report a case of recurrence intramuscularhaemangioma in a 22-year-old male. The patientwho had been operated due to swell at the right sideof neck before 5 years has intermittent painful recurrenceswell in same region for 2 months. Preoperative evaluationincluded routine physically examination, ultrasound, and magnetic resonance imagine. The patients weretreated with directly mass approaches. Histopathologydiagnosis was capillary-type intramuscular haemangiomain the patient. Postoperative courses were uneventful, and the patients were discharged within a week. Clinicaland ultrasonographic follow-ups were negative at 2 years.Preoperative diagnosis of neck intramuscular haemangiomais difficult because of rarity and non-specific clinicalfindings. Large surgical excision is required for an adequatecure due to the frequent recurrence.
