Özet
An 82 year-old male patient with the complaints of leftleg ischemia and medially located mass on his left lowerthigh with diffuse ecchymoses was admitted to the hospital. Two separate aneurysms, one being ruptured, onthe left superficial femoral artery were diagnosed byusing ultrasonography and angiography. No accompanyinganeurysms in the abdominal aorta or other peripheralarteries were found. The patient was undertaken anemergent operation. Resection of aneurysms and ringreinforced PTFE graft interposition was performed afterthe evacuation of the hematoma. However, necrosis ofthe left 1st, 2nd and 3rd toes developed during the earlypostoperative period. The search of the literature revealedthree different atherosclerotic aneurysms on the samesuperficial femoral artery in one patient. Superficialfemoral artery aneurysms are usually single and distinctlyunusual. Complications such as rupture, thrombosis orembolization may increase mortality and morbidity.Early diagnosis and surgical intervention of the patientswith superficial femoral artery aneurysms are mandatorybefore complications develop, as in this case.
