Özet
Malignant pleural mesothelioma is an aggressive type of malignancy which has a poor prognosis and for which no single protocol that can serve as the standard treatment could be established. Extrapleural pneumonectomy (EPP) can be curative in cases who are in the earlier stages of the malign pleural mesothelioma. In this case report, we present the experience we gained in the process of treating an early graft and intracavitary infection in a patient who underwent standard EPP and in whom grafts were applied to diaphragm and pericardium resections.
