Özet

Candida esophagitis is an important problem for immunosuppresive patients. Colonisation of gastrointestinal tract is the major source of infection. Early diagnosis and treatment are deterministic factors in candida esophagitis. Endoscopy must be planned for following the progression of disease. We report a successfully treated case who required agressive antifungal treatment for pan mural candida esophagitis. Although azoles can be applied at the early diagnosis, if there is no answer clinically, amphotericin B must be assayed immediately for the treatment.
