Özet

Sleep related eating disorder (SRED) is a recently described syndrome consists of recurrent episodes of involuntary eating and drinking during arousals from sleep with problematic consequences. Dopaminergic and serotonergic agents further supports the role of these systems in the pathogenesis of eating disorders. This is a case of a 25-year-old man with a 10 year history of SRED that occurred with partial consciousness. He was given pramipexole and frequency of these episodes reduced but still sometimes he has woken up for eating. SRED should be considered in the underlying causes of obesity.
